About the events

Computability, Complexity, and Randomness 2020 (CCR 2020) and its satellite Leeds Computability Days 2020 (LCD 2020) will take place in June and July 2020.  LCD 2020 will be held at the University of Leeds in Leeds, UK during 24–26 June 2020. CCR 2020 will be held at the Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Cambridge, UK during 29 June – 3 July 2020.

Warning:  Please be aware of recent scams targeting academic conferences.  Do not give any information to anyone claiming to arrange your travel and/or accommodation on behalf of the organizers.

ASL student travel awards

The Association for Symbolic Logic sponsors both LCD 2020 and CCR 2020.  Students may apply for student travel awards to attend the meetings.  To apply, you must be a member of the ASL, and you must submit your application three months prior to the start of the meetings.  Please visit for further information and application instructions.

Students wishing to attend both meetings may apply with a single application containing separate paragraphs indicating why it is important to attend each meeting, separate estimates of the travel expenses for each meeting, and the total estimated expense.

To find Chemistry Lecture Theatre D, go through the main doors of the Chemistry Building on Woodhouse Lane.  Lecture Theatre D is ahead to the left.  (Map)

Warning:  The Chemistry Building is not the same as the School of Chemical and Process Engineering!  If you’re in the School of Chemical and Process Engineering, then you’re in the wrong place!

Visitors to the University of Leeds School of Mathematics commonly stay at the Ibis on Marlborough Street.  It is about a 15-minute walk from Leeds Station and about a 20-minute walk from the University.

Leeds is served by Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) and by Manchester Airport (MAN).  There is a train station at Manchester airport.  Travel to and from Leeds Bradford Airport is by bus or taxi.
